In the scriptures, Vasuki Naag is said to be the snake of Lord Shiva. At that time, it was considered the king of snakes. It is said that the snake that Lord Shiva wears around his neck is Vasuki. During the Samudra Manthan, Vasuki was tied to Mount Meru instead of a rope and the churning was done. Vasuki is considered to be the enemy snake of the prehistoric snake Titanoboa. Let us tell you that the fossils of Titanoboa were found in a coal mine in Colombia in 2009. This snake used to be 42 feet long and weighed 1100 kg.
